HOW IT ALL BEGAN
October 16th, the foundation of The Intercop GmbH, Zurich, Switzerland by representatives of six national retail organizations. Founded by Gunnar Nygren, the great and charismatic visionary of Expert.
On March 30th, the company was renamed in Expert International GmbH. That was the beginning of Expert growth – other companies started to join. The Expert trademark was internationally registered.
The foundation of Expert Global Inc. together with the US partner AVB and the Cantrex Group, Canada
Betta Stores Ltd, New Zealand, Australia joined
Expert counts more than 7.400 stores in 21 countries with total retail sales of more than 20 billion € in product areas such as:
