Expert Ireland announced a two-year Charity partnership

At the beginning of 2020, our member from Ireland, Expert Ireland held their first Dealer Conference of 2020 where they officially announced their two-year Charity partnership with Epilepsy Ireland.

Speaking at the launch event announcing the partnership, Expert Ireland’s CEO, Mr. Ciaran O’Reilly said he is delighted to get behind an organization which supports an often misunderstood condition, commenting, “In the lead up to announcing our partnership with Epilepsy Ireland, we have learned so much about the condition and how it can be misunderstood.”

And adding that despite the fact that there are over 40,000 people across the country living with the condition, Epilepsy Ireland aims to educate the public about the condition and show the public that epilepsy does not have to be a barrier to a person’s life.

Epilepsy Ireland CEO, Mr. Peter Murphy outlined how having the support of an organization of Expert’s Ireland stature will have a hugely positive impact on the organization’s work.

Big national fundraising week – Rose Week 2020 took place from October 12th till 19th.

To help them with fundraising Expert Ireland has given all their members ( 1500 members) a discount code to purchase appliances on and every discount code redeemed was donate a percentage of that sale also.

This year The annual convention of the Expert group Italy became a live show.

The Expert group Italy confirms and expands its yearly historic event by bringing together associates, store owners, brand partners, and all the store managers of the group.
The inaugural workshop opened up the intense week of work on the morning of October 19th, welcoming all connected people, whose faces appeared on the stage alongside the General Manager of Expert Italy, Roberto Omati. In his report, General Manager Roberto Omati started with some considerations on the forecasts of the macroeconomic scenario and general consumption of the next three years.

Connected with the European headquarters located in Zug, Switzerland, the Managing Director of Expert International Mr. Jens Stroemnes greeted everyone and congratulated the Italian organization for such an impressive and amazing initiative.

The President Tommaso Leso present on stage virtually connected from Verona, was enthusiastic about the work done by the Group Management and for the brilliant results obtained this year by all the associates, leaving behind, at least for now, those weeks of great fear experienced during the lockdown.

In remote from Castellammare di Stabia, Vice President Enrico Somma expressed his heartfelt thanks to the brand partners of the Expert group for their support, stating that, from the clear evidence of the values that the proximity distribution format is able to express, Expert will certainly be their best investment for the future, now even more so than the past.

The Virtual Trade Village, the heart of the Expert People Week, is in fact a week of training events that virtually brings the entire sales network of the shops belonging to the group together into a classroom: over 3,000 people, including owners, buyers, and store managers.

#Foundation Komputronik supports the development

Our member from Poland, Komputronik, through its #Foundation decided to support healthcare professionals during this challenging time and express their admiration for their dedication and demanding work.

We appreciate the effort and commitment that medical staff put into saving the lives of others every day. Therefore, the Komputronik Foundation together with SZAMA restaurant donated to the employees of the SOR branches of the HCP Hospital in Poznań and the
in Puszczykowo 100 dinners.“

Our partner Expert Netherlands has published a special edition of their Magazine to reflect upon the impact of the pandemic this year. Next to talks with Dik Pijl, CEO of Expert Netherland, Expert retailers and suppliers, Jens Stroemnes, who’s been the managing director of Expert International since January of this year, in this special edition talks about the importance of an international organization, now and in the future.
