Today marks International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and the beginning of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence.

In order to encourage an open dialogue and break the silence, the UN Women is launching #orangetheworld, a social media campaign to raise awareness for the need for funding and to show solidarity with survivors.

Expert Cares, our partner from South Africa, recognises the desperate need to support, protect and stand in solidarity with their women and children of South Africa and across the world, too many of whom are silent victims.

To show their support, Expert Stores has partnered with UN Women and pledged to donate R50 for every purchase of R5000 or more made at expertstores.co.za during 16 Days of Activism, (25 November – 10 December) to their nominated partner organization, Ilitha Labantu.
