NAY to open two new stores in September

In September, the largest Slovak retailer of consumer electronics will open new stores in Prešov and Piešťany.

In the year, when the operation of the retail business was significantly affected by the coronavirus, NAY, our partner from Slovakia, continues to expand, extending the number of its stores to 38 and creating new jobs.
The store in Prešov will be already the second NAY store in the city, opening its gate on the 4th of September at 9:00 a.m. in Retail Park Ľubotice on Obchodná ulica no. 8.

Two weeks later, on the 18th of  September, the store in Piešťany, on N. Teslu 4711/25, in the premises of the Tesco department store, will open.

We had been planning to open a store in Piešťany for a long time and we finally succeeded. We are very popular in Prešov, it is a big city, so we believe that the second store will also find its customers without any problems. We are opening despite the fact that the situation is less favorable for personal visits to stores this year. The pandemic has significantly affected the life of society and the way we shop.

On the other hand, we witnessed how Slovak customers returned to their favorite stores also physically very quickly after opening the stores. In our case, practically on the following day. We are therefore sure that there is a demand for more stores and it makes sense to invest and expand also in such challenging times,“ Martin Ohradzanský, CEO of the company, commented on the expansion.
