Expert SE headquarters as part of the Future Day

Expert SE headquarters as part of the Future Day

This year, 36 students once again took the opportunity to discover the wide range of training and career opportunities at Expert SE headquarters as part of the Future Day.

The Future Day makes an important contribution to schoolchildren throughout Germany finding a job and studying. This year again, Expert SE, our partner from Germany, welcomed interested children and young people to its headquarters in Langenhagen and presented the company and the various training opportunities to the 10 to 15-year-olds.

The number of participants of 36 students shows the great interest of the youngsters in the company, which has been taking part in the Future Day for 10 years.

We want to inspire our young participants for Expert and hope to welcome them as new trainees in a few years' time.

“I am pleased that so many schoolchildren took part in the future day again this year to discover the career opportunities at our Expert headquarters,” says Klaas H. Marquardt, Head of Human Resources at Expert SE.

“The opportunities for young professionals at Expert are great: We train in eight future-oriented occupations and offer two dual study programs. After successful completion of the final examination, our trainees are given permanent employment contracts, because by training qualified and motivated junior staff, we actively work to avoid the shortage of skilled workers. We hope that we have sparked interest in Expert among the students today and that we will see them again in a few years as trainees.”

This year’s event was divided into three sections: the general part, in which the company was presented, was followed by a quiz and a scavenger hunt with questions and riddles about the world of Expert.

Then there was a guided tour for the children and young people through the exciting logistics world of the Expert Fulfillment Center. During an extensive pizza break, they could then exchange ideas and rest until they went to the parents’ specialist departments in the afternoon. At the end, all children and young people received a certificate and a small gift.
